Zocca waterfall

It is an absolutely incredible experience to reach the Zocca waterfall! From the Luna Nascente mountain hut, follow the main path on your right. The path soon branches off and, on your right, you will see a bridge which allows you to cross the Mello creek. Stay on the main rocky path (on the left-hand side) which slightly climbs up through the trees. Keep following the valley bottom path past the sign on the left for Allievi mountain hut. A few minutes later the path climbs towards a wooden bridge and then goes back down taking you back to the same altitude you were before. Leave the creek behind and, just before Rasica pastures, you will find a small stream crossed by a short tree trunk bridge. The waterfall track climbs from the top of the pasture on your left. The track is not always clearly visible and goes through bushes and meadows at first and then into the woods. It is always on the right-hand side of the creek, quite far from it at times. The track is signposted with cairns (stacks of stone showing the route) and some faded red marks. Hence, if you pay attention, you will easily find the path. The waterfall is hidden on your left, invisible and still until you are a few meters away. Please use caution when walking on the wet and slippery rocks close to the water!
