Ferro waterfall

The Ferro waterfall gathers the water runoff from the homonymous valley and it is the first spectacular waterfall you will encounter in Val di Mello. When entering the valley, you will see it on the right-hand side of the mountain slopes. To reach the waterfall, follow the main path to the car park, go past it and continue on the dirt road. After crossing the bridge, take a steep track which climbs along the creek; you will notice on your left a group of traditional alpine huts. After about 200 m, while approaching the waterfalls, follow a track on your right which enters the wood. This will take you to the creek right at the base of the fall! Take care when approaching the waterfall as the rocks might be slippery!
