Surrounded by amazing granite monoliths and major peaks, including the famous Mount Disgrazia, in the warm season the mountain hut is the starting point for climbing and hiking routes, progressively difficult, which lead to other mountain huts of Val Masino, the alpine pastures, the roaring waterfalls of the Alpe Pioda and the nearby Bregaglia in Switzerland. This wide range of itineraries allows the guests to visit the heart of Val Masino and enjoy its natural heritage represented by centuries-old woods and alpine pastures; moreover, tourists will be able to take on the challenging climbing routes in the surrounding area.
In winter, the mountain hut is the ideal starting point for the lovers of snowshoeing and mountain climbing who want to reach the iced waterfalls, as well as for those who just want to enjoy a relaxing walking through the woods and the snowy landscapes in complete silence, taste the typical Valtellina dishes, play cards near the stove or read some mountain books or magazines present in our library.
Children will be able to play on the meadows, in the woods and along a creek flowing in front of the mountain hut in total safety.
